ARABLE MARK AGRICULTURAL SENSOR
Arable Mark is a field-level weather and crop monitoring device that collects over 40 field-specific data metrics. Collectively, the data can help provide actionable insight indicating trends across fields and whether crops are susceptible to disease.

"If you asked me why I started this company, and I was speaking unfiltered from my gut, I would say because I have experienced such agony installing equipment from the usual cast of weather station manufacturers."

CURRENT AGRICULTURAL TECHNOLOGIES
We looked at everything from portable/home devices to industrial equipments and found an opportunity to bridge the gap between the two.
WHAT ARE THE USE-CASES? MEASURING RECOVERY | CAPTURE SCREW-UP | DATA ANALYSIS | IRRIGATION MANAGEMENT
We visited a variety of fields including berms, orchards and hoops. We spoke to farmers to understand the pain points related to monitoring crops.
GROUND. BERMS. BEDS | Berries, lettuce, peppers, etc.
ORCHARD | Almonds, walnuts, etc.
HOOPS | Blackberries, etc.
RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT | Understanding the technology and how it all connects
Arable Mark has a solar panel, 2 spectrometers, 1 acoustic rain sensor and 1 temperature & humidity sensor. The real challenge was to package all the required components into a small footprint and durable device. We also needed to create a simple and clever way to mount the module to various types of poles.
CAPTURE . PREDICT . ACT
Stay connected 24/7. With the 4G cellular capability, it allows you to access data from anywhere in real-time.
PROTOTYPING AND TESTING
Prototyping and testing was a very crucial part of the process. The Mark had to be self-sufficient and withstand extreme weather conditions. We were actively working with external mechanical engineering and product development teams to test all design features and sensors.
The only monitor on the planet to synthesize both climate and plant measurements.
REAL-TIME, ACTIONABLE DATA
Access to your data from anywhere in real-time.
Upward and downward facing spectrometers monitors plant health.
Thermal and acoustic sensors replace labor-intensive rain gauges.
DATA. DATA. DATA.
Receive straightforward, plant-based measurements relevant to your operation.
